As the Policy Director, Louisa’s work has centered on strategic campaigns that strengthen access to democracy at the local, state, and federal levels. She leads Vote Mama’s Policy and Research team, advocating nationwide for campaign finance reform to allow parents to use campaign funds on childcare and security expenses as a means of boosting women’s political participation rates at all levels of government. Through partnerships and stakeholder engagement, Louisa has successfully turned Vote Mama’s bold vision into action – disrupting the systems that keep mamas out of office and out of power. Louisa received her B.A. in Politics from Brandeis University and a Master of Public Policy from the Heller School for Social Policy and Management with a concentration in Economic and Racial Equity.
